Click Apply Now, select the program you are interested in, and complete the application form. Once submitted, our team will review your application and reach out with the next steps.

What programs are available?

We currently offer several Chabad Fellowship opportunities designed for different schedules and levels of commitment:

Chabad BA Degree — a 3.5- or 4-year degree pathway
Chabad Gap Year — September 2027 through June 2028
Chabad Gap Semester — Fall 2027 or Spring 2028

Which program is right for me?

It depends on how much time you want to dedicate to the experience. Winter and Summer Fellowships are ideal for students looking for a shorter program, while the Gap Semester and Gap Year provide a longer immersive experience. Students interested in combining their studies with a long-term Chabad educational experience can explore the BA Degree program.

Can I apply if I am not sure which program to choose?

Yes. You can begin the application even if you are still deciding. Our team can help determine which fellowship, semester, gap year, or degree option best matches your goals and availability.

Can I apply for more than one program?

If you are interested in multiple programs, you can indicate your preferences during the application process. Our team can then discuss the available options with you.

When is the Winter Fellowship?

The Winter Fellowship takes place in December 2026, with three participation options: 1 week, 2 weeks, or 3 weeks. Applicants can select the option that best fits their schedule.

When is the Summer Fellowship?

The Summer Fellowship takes place in July 2027 and runs for approximately three weeks.

What is the difference between the Gap Semester and Gap Year?

The Gap Semester allows students to participate for one semester:

Fall 2027: September–December 2027

Spring 2028: January–June 2028

The Gap Year combines both semesters and runs from September 2027 through June 2028.

How long is the Chabad BA Degree program?

The Chabad BA Degree program is designed as a longer-term academic pathway and can be completed in approximately 3.5 to 4 years, depending on the student's selected track and academic progress.

Who can apply?

Applications are welcomed from students interested in strengthening their Jewish learning, personal growth, and connection to Chabad. Students may also be referred by CTeen and Chabad on Campus Shluchim.

Are scholarships or financial assistance available?

Yes. Scholarship and fellowship awards may be available for qualified students. Availability and award amounts may vary by program and applicant.

Can a Chabad Shliach refer a student?

Yes. We welcome referrals from CTeen and Chabad on Campus Shluchim. Shluchim are encouraged to contact us if they know a student who may benefit from one of the fellowship, gap, or degree programs.

What happens after I submit my application?

After submitting your application, our team will review your information and contact you regarding the next steps. Depending on the program, additional information or a conversation with the admissions team may be required.
