Planning to join the Chabad Fellowship Programs? Here are answers to the questions we receive most often from students and parents. If you still need assistance, our team is happy to help.
Where is the program located?
The fellowship takes place at the Rabbinical College of America in Morristown, New Jersey, providing a beautiful campus environment for learning and personal growth.
Who can apply?
Chabad Fellowship is open to Jewish young men ages 17–24 who are interested in exploring Judaism in a welcoming and engaging environment. No advanced Jewish background is required.
How much does the program cost?
The program is 100% scholarship-funded, including accommodations, meals, activities, and learning. Participants who successfully complete the program also receive a $1,500 stipend.
Do I need to be religious?
Not at all. Students from a wide range of Jewish backgrounds are welcome. Whether you're just beginning to explore Judaism or already have experience, the program is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and meaningful.
What activities are included?
Beyond daily Torah learning, students enjoy inspiring Shabbos experiences, BBQs, sports, guest speakers, trips, and exciting outings such as American Dream and other group adventures.
What should I bring?
Accepted students receive a complete packing checklist before the program begins, including clothing recommendations, bedding information, and any items needed for activities.
